{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}Is Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus, Gurdaspur good for B.E./B.Tech? Here's a summary of what current students and alumni have to say:Pros:* Well-qualified and knowledgeable faculty members (most with Ph.D.s)* Good infrastructure, including modern computer laboratories, classrooms, and libraries* Decent placements with top recruiters like TCS, Accenture, and Infosys* Average salary package ranging from 3.50 LPA to 17 LPA* Opportunities for internships with reputed companies* Hostels are comfortable, with free WiFi access* Regular tech fests, sports events, and cultural programsCons:* Self-study is essential, as teachers may not provide much help* Semester exams are moderately difficult* Limited availability of Wi-Fi outside hostels* Sweeper services are irregular, affecting cleanliness in public areas* No specific mention of academic rigor or research opportunitiesOverall Assessment:Guru Nanak Dev University Regional Campus, Gurdaspur has its strengths, particularly in terms of faculty quality and decent placements. However, it seems that students must rely heavily on self-study and are advised to focus on preparing for placements themselves. While the campus has good infrastructure, there are some limitations, such as limited Wi-Fi access and inconsistent cleaning services. Overall, the experience appears to be satisfactory, but it ultimately depends on individual expectations and goals.
