Yes we do take telephonic interviews, but i would suggest you to come to the campus and physically measure it as it will help you decide to opt for the institute or not.

Sumit if you want to take my opinion i would suggest you to go for IIMP as it gives better placements than MIT, the teaching pattern at IIMP is application oriented and you will get to learn so many things there.

It depends on which category you belongs to. if you belongs to open category then the chances are rare, you might get edge in 3rd CAP round but the chances are very rare vise versa for ST/SC/OBC candidates.
