B.Arch Interior Design: Eligibility Criteria
Students who wish to pursue B.Arch Interior Design courses must meet up with the following eligibility criteria. The minimum marks required in the 10+2 may vary from college to college. Aspiring students should have qualified 10+2 or equivalent examination. The candidates should have passed their 10+2 with Physics Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subjects with a reasonably high percentage of marks (minimum 50% and 45% for SC/ST in aggregate). Admission to the B.Arch Interior Design course is usually entrance based in some colleges and universities as well as merit based. The marks obtained in the qualifying examinations are considered for the purpose of offering admission to the students and the entrance exam will be followed by the counselling round. Some colleges provide direct admissions to the course on the basis of the marks obtained in their 10+2 examinations. NATA is the most preferred entrance exam for B.Arch Interior Design admissions. The institutes release provisional merit lists and the candidates shortlisted will be required to appear for document verification and counselling rounds on the prescribed date and venue. Lateral Entry aspirants with a Diploma in the field of engineering are also eligible to apply.
