The University has a reservation policy in place, which includes seats reserved for candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Other Backward Classes [Non Creamy Layer (NCL)], and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS). The eligibility criteria for these categories are as follows:
For SC/ST/PWD candidates, a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree is required.For OBC (NCL) and EWS candidates, a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate (of all the years/semesters) or equivalent CGPA in the qualifying degree is required.
Additionally, the University provides deprivation points to candidates from under-privileged and socially handicapped sections of society, which can be added to their score in accordance with the approved admission policy and procedures.
