Jain University BTech eligibility criteria require applicants to have completed Class 12 from PUC/ISC/CBSE or any other equivalent board with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects and at least one optional subject out of Chemistry/Electronics/Computer Science /Biology. They must have scored at least 45% (40% for SC/ST) in Class 12. Additionally, aspirants are required to qualify in at least one of the accepted entrance exams which include JET, Uni-GAUGE, JEE and COMEDK.

Admission to a four-year BTech course at Jain University is entirely entrance-based. Those who are willing to get admission to this course must qualify for the respective entrance exams. Candidates can either apply via a score of Jain Entrance Test (JET), which is an in-house entrance exam of Jain University conducted for its UG and PG courses. Apart from that, Jain University also accepts JEE Main scores for BTech admission. To get admission to BBA at Jain University, candidates have to apply for the minimum eligibility as prescribed by the university. For admission to all the BBA specialisations, candidates must pass Class 12 in Science/ Commerce/ Arts from PUC/ ISC/ CBSE or equivalent board. For BBA Global Qualifcation specialisations, candidates are required to attain minimum 80% aggregate in Class 12 in any stream.
