Hi,
Yes, you are eligible and you can apply for it. A candidate for admission to the Program for Degree of Doctor of Philosophy must have obtained at least a second class Masters degree with not less than 55% of marks of a university or a degree recognized by the university as its equivalent in the subject in which the candidate wishes to pursue a course of research or in a subject .

Candidates must note that B.Tech/B.E. admissions are done on the basis of JEE Main. Therefore, the university will offer admissions to candidates based on their JEE Main score. Aspirants must also meet the eligibility criteria of Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI). In other words, they have to meet the eligibility criteria of JEE Main in order to appear in JEE Main 2018 as well as that of the eligibility of JMI.
Diploma holders in Engineering stream recognized by AICTE or a state board of technical education of 3 or 4 year duration with at least 55% marks are also eligible.
