No, In JAMIA MBA is a degree course and not a diploma. Yes it does provide job placement. Minimum package will ofcourse depend on your credentials however 3 lakh per annum one should be able to manage.

You can do certicate courses like- MS-Cit, tally, mobile repairing, etc. If you're a engineering graduate, you can do autocad. If you're a MBA finance graduate, you can do SAP FICO courses, typing courses, etc.

See u must be better aware of your capability and how passionate u are for mba.judge accordingly.and if u feel u can do well in cat ,keep jamia as the last option.

The avg placement package is 4.5 lakhs.but not necessarily get placed at that package.you might get placed at 3 lakhs also.and highest goes upto 10 lakhs.

The syllabus for JAMIA MBA entrance is same as CAT but ofcourse the difficulty level is much less. You need to study quantitative aptitude,logical reasoning, current affairs and English.If you havent taken coaching for CAT, buy a book which gives you a comprehensive practice of the above sections and for current affairs ofcourse you need to read the newspaper everyday. Last year MBA entrance took place on 7th june 2015. This year the schedule is not out yet. Keep checking the JAMIA website for the important dates. All the best!
