The minimum course length for the qualifying degree programme must be three years, or the equivalent.Aggregate Score: The marks from every subject, including language classes from all three years of the degree program, must be used to compute the aggregate score. Candidates in reserved categories, such as SC, ST, and Karnataka candidates in Category 1, are eligible for a five percent score concession. Candidates in unreserved categories are required to receive a minimum aggregate score of fifty percent. Such candidates need to have at least a 45% overall cumulative score across all subjects.Every year, the Karnataka PGCET is a state-level entrance exam. Those who pass it can apply to a variety of postgraduate programs, such as MBA, ME, MTech, MCA, and MArch. Karnataka University course admission process vary depending upon the programme level. Admission to the PG level courses is entrance-based. Aspirants have to appear for the department entrance exam followed by counselling round for selection. While admission to the UG courses offered by KUD-affiliated colleges is merit-based. The step-wise admission criteria is explained below:STEP 1: KUD Application Process 2024In order to apply for the desired course, aspirant need to complete the application form and submit it before the deadline. The application form can be filled out in online mode through the university official website. It shall also be available in offline mode at the university admission office.STEP 2: Entrance ExamCandidates who registered successfully and applied for PG courses need to appear for the respective department entrance exam. For the UG courses, the selection is done based on the aspirants score in the last qualifying exam. STEP 3: Result DeclarationThe results of the entrance examinations are released after the entrance exams are conducted successfully. It is declared in the form of a merit list. The list carries name/roll number of the selected candidates. Merit list candidates are further required to take part in the centralised counselling for seat allotment.STEP 4: Counselling & Seat AllotmentAfter the release of merit list, selected candidates have to go through the centralised counselling process. During this procedure, seats are allotted to eligible candidates. Selected candidates are then required to pay the admission fee for the allotted seat. The fee payment (allotment letter should be carried along) can be done at the State Bank of India (SBI) and Canara Bank counter or in online mode.
