Both the colleges are good colleges but as compared to the agricultural field Annamalai has the best records for its excellent achievements, courses and facilities, placements etc.Kerala Agricultural University has good facilities for the students that is, the university has separate hostels for boys and girls with all the necessary facilities. There is a state of the art equipment they can use and learn. The university library is stocked with the latest books that will help students with their works. The students can also access these books online and they also have access to many online e-resources. The university has an 800-seater fully air-conditioned central auditorium on the main campus with one of the finest acoustic systems. Some of the clubs like NCC, NSC, Sports tournaments, various cultural events are organized for the extra curricular activities. The college campus is ideal for the students who are very proficient for thei career. Some deserving students also get a chance to work as teaching assistants in the same college after the completion of their Masters for a salary of INR 30,000 and some students also got placed as research associates with a daily payment of INR 350 per day. Many students got job packages with regional and national banks.
