College review of College of Agriculture Vellayani.

Placements: Even if there are no direct placements in my course but the Diploma has had placements recently more than 5 students directly got into interviews. Many exams can be taken after the studies here and many seniors have got enrollment easily. Seniors take JRF and GATE exams.

This college is nice in all aspects, and many students got placements.

Faculty members are good. Placement is not very much. The infrastructure and hostel are good.

Placements: To be honest, a very less percentage of students get placed in our college. The main two reasons for this are that a majority of students prefer higher studies and a less number of companies come for campus placements. However, companies will come if we consistently contact them and show enthusiasm for jobs rather than higher studies. Some banks, tractor companies, and irrigation companies are the top recruiting companies.

Unlock opportunities for agriculture through KAU.

Placements: I am in my final year (2021 batch). The percentage of placements is nearly 10%. Mostly placements are for B.Tech biotechnology students in the college. For B.Sc. hons agriculture, it is basically more of research oriented. So there won't be any placements like B.Tech programs. But you get opportunities to get into farm officer posts and other companies if your performance is good. If you could clear PSC, UPSC IBPS, and various posts are there for agri graduates.
