No, Not valid, don't pursue.
Two degrees are not valid.
One degree and another diploma is valid.
See UGC's website for making things clear.

You may go to Kurukshetra University. All the faculties there have hospitality experience of more than 10 years. All are well educated and their work experience reflects their personality. They teach very well we also like the way they teach us. It is basically a 3-year course in which 6 semesters are there. Every semester has final exams as well as practical exams. Here the study is quite easy and we get the job more easily as compared to other colleges.

Hi there,
Well, the placements opportunities after a law course from Directorate of Distance Education (Kurukshetra University) Haryana would always be nil as the degree that you get after the completion of course would not be recognised by Bar council and thus you can't have any practical implications of Your degree and it would also get difficult in making a career in law. Also, the law degree would not make you eligible even for judicial services exams and thus would be a degree on paper only.
Also, it would not make you eligible as a legal expert even.
So, you won't get any placements as such here. So, I would advise you for better career and job prospects. Kindly go for a regular LLB degree from a UGC recognised institute as that would help you get better placements and even better quality of legal education.

Hello Shikha,
It's really sad to know your case. But when you filled up form, you must have mentioned language of instruction. What was it? Do you have a copy of this? Please write to registrar for your grievance.

It is purely based on your interest and the area you wish to work in. The scope of work for a CA is mainly in the field of finance and accounting area whereas MBAs have more diversity to choose from.
There are CAs as well as MBAs who have climbed up the ladder and reached higher positions, though we may say that in certain areas like investment banking, financial consulting or mergers, and acquisitions, an MBA would be preferred than a CA.
On the other hand, there are instances of CAs who have picked new skills while on the job and handled greater responsibilities than someone who has an MBA degree.
There are also CA professionals who apply to international MBA programmes to have a shot at a global career.
So, we can sum up that a lot depends on the nature of your job, the related responsibilities and the learning involved.
