Here are the guidlines  for international students applying at MKUDDE, Madurai :- i. International students interested in getting admission to the Madurai Kamaraj University must apply between January and March.ii. Candidates must pay the entire tuition fee for the entire course duration.iii. International students must submit their applications for both PG and PhD programs online. Visit official site to do so.iv.The ISA office will provide a Conditional letter of Selection for the programme after evaluating the online application and other supporting papers.v. The equivalence certificate (s) should be uploaded along with all the required papers that have been authenticated.vi. Students will receive a letter of provisional admission from the registrar after the evaluation of their application, supporting documentation, and fee payment. This is necessary to apply for a visa, receive one, and to finish additional requirements.vii. Within 7 days of their arrival in India, students must report to the ISA office. The students must register during this period with the local police's Foreigner Regional Registration Office (FRRO).viii. Students should bring all original documents and a properly authenticated copies of each.ix. International students must get a medical checkup and receive a medical certificate. All foreign students entering India on student visas are required by law to undergo HIV testing, and if positive, their enrollment would be revoked.x. International students' admission will be approved if they meet the requirements, have their original credentials verified, are in good health, and pay the necessary fees. 

As you know that Madurai Kamaraj University is a Statutory University, and has been reaccredited by NAAC with grade A. Ofcourse you might be having high expectation from this university then, also all of these NAAC with grade A universities spend lavishly on their infrastructure.So as food is most important thing that comes in the mind of a student when he/she wants to live there in hostels so yes these A graded universities have same kind of food like others, Hygene is good, also proper diet chart is foowed, daily the dishes or food items change according to days of the week.They may include proper Thaali food items like curd, salad, sabji, daal, rice, etc. But yes when it comes to taste none can beat home food.So it depends first of all on your taste buds, secondly I would say the food is not bad and has good variety. 

You just need to fulfill these eligibilty criterias to get admission here in at MKUDDE, Madurai, and you will get admission :-A candidate for undergraduate admission must have completed their 12th grade or an equivalent programme from a reputable school or board.A candidate for a graduate degree programme must have completed their undergraduate degree from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 45%.The applicants must pass admission tests in order to enroll in some of the courses that are offered.

Madurai Kamaraj University is a State University which is owned and funded by the Government of Tamil Nadu. Moreover, the university is also recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC). Further, Madurai Kamaraj University has also been accredited with an “A+” grade in the 4th cycle (2021) by National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC).

The deadline for MKU DDE Admission 2023 is August 31, 2023. Admission to all UG and PG courses provided by Madurai Kamraj University through distant learning began on May 10, 2023, for the July academic session. For certificate and Diploma programs, there is a 200 INR application fee. UG degree applications cost INR 300. And the application fee for graduate programs is INR 400. Candidates who want to enroll in the Madurai MBA/MCA programme must pay INR 500 as a deposit. The last day to apply for MKU Distance Education in 2023 has not yet been notified.

The median package offered to PG (2-year) and PG (3-year) students stood at INR 2.15 LPA and INR 2.88 LPA, respectively. For Integrated PG courses, the median package offered during Madurai Kamaraj University placements 2022 was INR 1.44 LPA.
