AJ College is a surprise package.

Placements: Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College placed students who wished to get placed before completing their final year. The placement cell started campus interview opportunities at the beginning of the final year itself. So it was convenient for students to upgrade themselves and get a job before completing the final year. It provided various opportunities for women students. The highest package ranged up to 6 LPA. Around 75% of the student population got placed before completing their degree. The placements involved core subjects and also various job opportunities in collaboration with TMB Bank.

Infrastructure: The college had good infrastructure and laboratories that contained nearly all the chemicals and instruments necessary for experiments. The classrooms were spacious. There was a huge library containing thousands of books. The hostel and canteen were clean and well maintained. The hostel was very strict. There were also good medical facilities. Sports and games facilities for students, allowing them to participate in various events.

Faculty: The staff was really knowledgeable. The quality of teaching was very good. The curriculum helped students understand concepts deeply. The college made students ready for industrial exposure and higher studies within or outside India. The semester exams in the college were really feasible. Students could pass if they studied properly. The pass percentage was relatively high. If a student got an arrear, the issue was with the student and not the college.

Other: This college made the course I chose enjoyable. There was also a little bit of improvement required in the syllabus and changes. Campus life was very great because there were many department functions and college functions happening throughout the year. It was really enjoyable and a great feeling to study in such a college with a nice atmosphere and many extracurricular activities. There was a cell for every single thing. They were active. AJ College students also participated in and represented Tamil Nadu in the Republic Day event in Delhi.

Placements: In B.Com CA, 60 percent of students get placed every year. The lowest salary is Rs. 9,000 and the average is Rs. 1,0,000. The highest salary offered is Rs. 1,50,000. Many companies recruit from our campus, one of which is HCL. 88 percent of students get internships. Many roles are offered.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, and classrooms are okay in college. Classrooms are big, vut they need to add more restrooms. They need to improve the quality and variety of foods, and should prioritize hygiene.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. They are really helpful in preparing for exams and are also very friendly to ask doubts and have no harmful behavior. They are very good with every student, not only in studies. They are friendly all the time. The curriculum is very relevant, every student gets the knowledge of industry work. I like the teachers' behaviors.

Other: They need to manage restroom neatly and need to renovate the classrooms. There should be a change in timing, and need to improve the other special activities like dance, sports, and other extracurricular activities.

Placements: Around 70% of students were placed in our course. The highest package was 8 LPA. The lowest was 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys, Cognizant, and HCL Technologies. Around 70 percent of students got internships from our course. Top roles offered were Software Developer and IT Project Coordinator.

Infrastructure: Our department had good infrastructure and well-equipped labs. Classrooms were spacious. It provided a comfortable environment. The library was well stocked and helpful for academic resources. Hostel facilities were good and clean, and medical and sports facilities were also good.

Faculty: Our teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The staff quality was good and easy to understand. The course curriculum was relevant and helped in gaining industry knowledge. The semester exams were moderately difficult. The overall pass percentage was 85–95% across semesters.

Other: I chose Computer Science for good IT career opportunities. It offered strong coding knowledge and placements. I wished there were more internship opportunities. The campus had good events, a friendly environment, and scholarships.

Placements: Almost 86 percent of students got placed, the highest salary was 15 LPA and the lowest salary was 3.5 LPA. Infrastructure: The college infrastructure was good and facilities were awesome, the classrooms were good, the computer labs were good. The library was good with many books available, Wi-Fi facility was also available, hostel facilities were good and the food was good, the canteen was also available, and medical facilities were good.

Faculty: The teachers were very helpful to students, all faculty members were well-qualified and dedicated, they had good knowledge and lots of experience, the teaching quality was good. They provide the best quality food that suits everyone. Overall, the best infrastructure and hostel service.

The college is totally not worth joining, and does not have placements. Choose the college wisely.

Placements: None of them got placed in a good IT company. The college invites manufacturing companies to all departments, but we are from a technical background. The maximum salary package offered is 2 LPA only. Entirely manufacturing companies like Foxconn, etc., offer placements. No one got internships here. I don't think they offer any top roles.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is okay because they have only 3 blocks. I think that's not enough. It does not have any Wi-Fi facility. There are a lot of systems in the lab, but none of them work properly. Some systems may not work, and some systems don't have a keyboard or mouse. Only a few systems work properly. There are many students in one class, and how will students work in the lab and complete the coding tasks when the systems are not sufficient? The library is pretty good. I don't know much about the hostel. The canteen doesn't have much food and snack items, which is the worst.

Faculty: Teaching quality depends on lecturers. Some faculty members aren't really knowledgeable enough to teach students. The course curriculum is not at all relevant. They make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very hard, but some exams are hard. The pass percentage is pretty good.

Other: I like to study Computer Science, soI chose this course. Everything needs to be improved. Events and festivals have not been conducted in the last few years, even though I studied during the days when they were conducted. Sports day and annual day are conducted in one year out of every three years I have studied. It's totally like a school, and schools are much better than this college.
