{Source: M.E./M.Tech students & alumni}Based on the feedback from students and alumni, here's a summary of the key points:Pros:* Good Placement Opportunities: Majority of students get placed in reputed companies with good salary packages (average range: 4.5-5 LPA). Companies like Whirlpool, Kirloskar Pneumatic, and Pari Robotics recruit students.* Excellent Infrastructure: Modern facilities, including well-equipped labs, libraries, and hostels. Fast internet connectivity is available throughout the campus.* Helpful Faculty Members: Professors are knowledgeable, supportive, and willing to guide students in their projects and studies.* Industry-Oriented Curriculum: Course structure focuses on practical application, preparing students for real-world scenarios.* Holistic Development: Opportunities for extracurricular activities, cultural events, and sports help students develop their personalities.Cons:* Limited Industry Tie-Ups: Not all companies visit the campus for recruitment, although efforts are made to establish connections.* Pandemic Impact: Placements have been affected due to the ongoing pandemic, leading to delayed or changed plans.* Costly Hostel Fees: Accommodation fees are relatively higher compared to other colleges, which might be a drawback for some students.Verdict: Based on the feedback, M.E./M.Tech at MIT School of Engineering and Sciences seems to be a worthwhile investment, considering the good placement opportunities, excellent infrastructure, and supportive faculty. However, students should weigh the costs against the benefits and consider factors like limited industry tie-ups and pandemic-related challenges before making a decision.Note: Keep in mind that individual experiences may vary, and it's essential to research and evaluate the programme comprehensively before enrolling.
