MIT ADTU Pune Seat Reservation
MIT ADT University in Pune reserves a minimum of 40% of its seats for Maharashtra domicile students, with an addtional 10% reserved for Economically weaker Sections (EWS) candidates. The remaining seats are open for candidates from other states and international applicants. For reserved categories (specifically applicable to Maharashtra state domicile), candidates generally receive a 5% relaxation in minimum qualifying marks.

MIT School of Computing, MIT-ADT typically starts its BTech registration process in the early months of the year. This usually follows the announcement of major national entrance exams like JEE Main. Prospective students are encouraged to register on the official portal as soon as the link opens.
The major subjects inlcuded under the BTech course at MIT ADTU Pune are Computer Science Engineering, Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Biochemical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Robotics and Automation Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Food Technology, etc.
The structure of programme is divided into eight semesters. The course includes multiple theory and practical subjects. Along with this, a summer & full-time Internship is also a part of syllabus. The core subjects vary and depends upon specialisation opted by student. However, first semester subjects are common for all courses. Common subjects include Design methods, Fundamentals of design, Design overview, etc.
Below are the eligibility & selection criteria for admission to the Bachelor of Design (BDes) programme at MIT Institute of Design:
- The candidate must have passed class 12 in any stream.
- Candidates must appear for the Design Aptitude Test (DAT) conducted by MIT Institute of Design based on which they will be selected for further admission rounds.
- Candidates based on their performance in the DAT exam will be shortlisted for the Studio Test and Personal Interview (PI) rounds.
- Those who qualify for the Studio test and PI rounds will be required to report to the admission cell at MIT Institute of Design for document verification and fee payment leading to final seat allotment.
To apply for BDes in MIT Institute of Design candidates are required to appear in the Institute based entrance exam MIT DAT (MIT Design Aptitude Test). Intially candidates are required to fill the online apllication form for MIT DAT and upload all the required documents. Candidates will receive the admit card online. After the exam candiates will be summoned for the personal interview followed by studio test.
