The placements of students in NIT's is quite good. From the data of last year, more than 80% got placed. It is expected that situation is going to improve in next four years and I feel that you should not worry.

NIT Surathkal for IT branch is very best college, it is top five and it is in placement it placement is average INR. 10 to 15 Lacs and the highest is in INR. 50 Lacs plus.
