The Mumbai campus of MPSTME is the flagship campus among STME, NMIMS. The other campuses of STME/MPSTME, NMIMS are located in Navi Mumbai, Chandigarh, Indore, Hyderabad, and Shirpur.The Mumbai campus of NMIMS has a total of 17 constituent schools and 9 Centres of Excellence under the NMIMS umbrella.

Candidates have to register for NCET exam to get admission in BTech programs of STME/MPSTME NMIMS. The registration fee of INR 2000 for NCET is non-refundable and non-transferable. So it will not be refunded to you even if you do not appear for the NCET exam.

To enroll into the MBA Tech programme at MPSTME-Mumbai, candidates must possess at least a 10+2 certification with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics taken as core subjects. Entry into this programme will be contingent on the NMIMS-CET Examination, which assesses an individual's aptitude in the areas of Science and Logical Reasoning. From scores obtained on this examination, a merit list is generated from which seats are allocated. As MBA Tech is an integrated 5-year degree programme (B.Tech + MBA) having considerable exposure to both disciplines (Technology and Management), a solid academic base in the sciences and Mathematics is important for admission into this programme. In addition to NMIMS-CET results, candidates also require consistency in academics, as well as demonstrating a clear interest in the field of Technology and Management, in order to gain admission to this programme and to perform successfully therein.

MPSTME NMIMS Shirpur BTech curriculum includes technical internships, laboratory sessions, software development projects, and a final-year capstone project. This ensures that the students gain professional experience along with theoretical learning. 

MPSTME Shirpur does not reserve any seats for ST/SC students in its BTech programs. NMIMS is a private deemed-to-be-university. Its admission process for BTech programs is not governed by the standard reservation policy that is followed in government universities.
