Hi. For MBA IT Admission, the minimum eligibility required is a Bachelors degree in any discipline with an aggregate of 50% marks. Admissions to Top MBA IT Colleges in India are done on the basis of entrance exam scores. CAT and XAT are nationwide accepted national MBA exams for which the registrations have begun. MBA IT programs at premier institutes in India will cost an average of INR 10-23 Lacs. After graduating from the MBA Information Technology course, you can work as a project manager for which the average salary is INR 7,13,001 in India as per PayScale. The other job opportunities after MBA IT course include business development manager, IT Consultant, data processing manager, business analyst, etc.
MBA IT Admission Process
Admission in MBA IT is done via two modes- either through an entrance exam or direct admission which is based on merit basis or management quota basis. The process generally consists of 4 Steps. Register & Apply for MBA Entrance Exam: One of the most important exams for MBA is CAT. You can register for it on the official website. For other exams like NMAT XAT CMAT and SNAP you will have to register separately. Appear in MBA Entrance Exam: Appear for the respective exams and then wait for the result. Shortlisting Process: The shortlisting will be done on the basis of the number of students who gave the exams and the number of seats available. Cut-off for all the colleges will be announced.
Final Admission Process- GD-PI-What Round: In this round Group Discussion and the Personal Interview takes place and both of them have different weightage.
