The selection process for B.Tech at Seacom Skills University (SSU) is based on merit in any entrance exam such as WBJEE, JEE, or SSU's own admission test. The minimum JEE Mains percentage required for admission to SSU is not specified on the university's official website. However, for admission to NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs, students should have passed the 12th class with a minimum of 75% criteria in JEE Mains 2024 or be in the top 20 percentile in their class 12 exam (65% for SC/ST candidates).

There is no minimum percentile criteria, if a college releases a cutoff and your percentile is eligible in the cutoff then you can get admission in the particular course.

Among the best colleges in West Bengal are Jadavpur University, Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, University of Calcutta, etc. Seacom Skills University - SSU doesn't come in the same tier as the best of colleges of West Bengal, however if one doesn't have decent score to get into the above mentioned colleges then, SSU is one of the decent colleges to get into.

Accordingly, the average fees for all courses at SSU is INR 74,500 per year. The total fees for a three-year B.Com course is INR 95,000, while the tuition fee for B.Com (Accountancy) course at SSU is INR 30,000 per annum. The lowest fee for courses at SSU is INR 175,000, while the highest is INR 450,000. As such it can be enlisted in the category of moderately costing universities.
