In 2013, Shri Ramasamy Memorial University (SRM) was founded. The university holds NAAC-A accreditation and is associated with UGC. It provides a range of undergraduate and graduate courses in the fields of IT, Science, Management, Arts, and Commerce, including BA, BVoc, MA, MSc, MCA, MCom, and MBA. Additionally, SRM University Sikkim offers vocational degrees, advanced diplomas, and diplomas in software development and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
