Such universities may be independent of UGC control over day-to-day activities, but cannot award degrees, affiliate institutes/colleges or set up off campus centres etc. without the UGC's approval.

| Grade 'A' accredited by NAAC

The National Assessment and Accreditation Council (NAAC) is an autonomous body established by the UGC to assess and accredit institutions of higher education in the country. It grades an institution from A++ (best rating) to C. Rating D indicates that the institution is not accredited.

KJ Somaiya is the best. But according to your rank and percentile, if you are a non-Gujarat student i.e. not a candidate of the linguistic minority, it is very difficult to get in KJ. Dalmia is also good but at 970 rank, it is again difficult.
