Somaiya Vidyavihar University offers scholarships to undergraduate and postgraduate students as financial assistance. Somaiya has been providing INR 25 Crore worth of need-based and merit-based scholarships & financial aid to the eligible candidates.
1. To secure financial aid, candidates must fall in either of the categories:
- Limited family income of INR 8 LPA
- People with Disabilities (PwD)
- Wards of defence personnel disabled or deceased in the line of duty
- Applicants represented states/ country in any recognised sport (only for BSc Sports and Exercise Science applicants).
2. Similarly, to secure a Somaiya Scholarship, candidates must be eligible through either of the following categories of merit-cum need based, need based or benevolent scholarships:

3. Last but not the least, Somaiya Vidyavihar University offers Institutional Scholarships on the basis of merit eligibility under following criterias:

Placements: Almost the complete batch was placed. The highest package was more than 20 LPA, and the lowest was around 8 LPA. The average was around 15 LPA. Top companies were AbInbev, ITC, Wells Fargo, and JPMorgan. Almost everyone got an internship, and the most sought-after roles were marketing and product manager.
Placements: Students from the department of M.Sc. Statistics got hire in various sectors like analytics, marketing and banking. Fractal Analytics, MU Sigma, Wipro are consistent recruiters from the college of S K Somaiya College. The highest pay would be 6.2 LPA for our department.
Placements: No placement was given to previous students and there will be no placement for this year's students because there is no placement cell for B.Sc. students. Placements are only for masters students which is also very difficult to get and most of the time they don't get it.
Placements: The highest payroll issued to the placed candidates was 17.5 LPA. Based on the skills and knowledge gained through placement training, students were placed in various designations. For entry-level positions, the salary ranged between 3 to 3.5 LPA.
Placements: Around 40% of students got placed by our college. The highest package offered is around 8.50 LPA and the average package is 4 LPA. Companies that visit S K Somaiya College are TCS, Infosys, Capgemini, IBM, Hexaware, etc. Top roles offered at S K Somaiya College are business analyst, consultant, and research analyst.
Placements: About 20-30% of students who had opted for placements got selected. The highest package was for 12 LPA, and the average is about 5 LPA, with the minimum being 3 LPA. Companies like TCS, Mahindra, and Cognizant come. All students have opportunities to apply for internships, but it is on the students whether they apply or not, and most of the ones applying get the internship (paid or unpaid).
