The Symbiosis Centre for Management & Human Resource Development (SCMHRD), a prestigious institute in Pune, India, offers a two-year full-time MBA program. The institute is renowned for its excellent faculty, industry-relevant curriculum, and excellent placement opportunities. SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is the entrance exam conducted by the Symbiosis International University for admission into various management institutes, including SCMHRD. In this essay, we will discuss the chances of getting into SCMHRD with a 70% score in SNAP, and the factors that influence admission decisions.Admission Criteria and CutoffsThe admission process for SCMHRD involves several stages, including the SNAP exam, Group Discussion (GD), Personal Interview (PI), and Written Ability Test (WAT). The cutoffs for each stage vary each year based on the performance of the candidates and the number of available seats. For the 2020-2022 academic year, the cutoffs for SCMHRD were as follows:SNAP Score: The minimum SNAP score required for SCMHRD was 50%ile for General and 45%ile for Reserved Category candidates.Group Discussion (GD) & Personal Interview (PI): Candidates who qualify the SNAP exam are called for GD and PI rounds. The final selection is based on the candidate’s performance in these rounds. While a 70% score in SNAP is considered good, it may not guarantee admission to SCMHRD, as the competition is high, and the institute has limited seats.Factors Influencing Admission DecisionsApart from the SNAP score, several other factors contribute to the admission decision:Academic Performance: The institute considers the candidate’s academic record, including 10th, 12th, and graduation marks. A consistently good academic record is essential for securing a seat in SCMHRD.Work Experience: Candidates with relevant work experience may have an edge over those without any work experience.Extra-curricular Activities: SCMHRD appreciates candidates who have a well-rounded profile, including participation in sports, cultural activities, and social initiatives.GD & PI Performance: Candidates who perform well in GD and PI rounds have higher chances of securing a seat in the institute.Diversity: SCMHRD aims to create a diverse learning environment, and the admission committee may consider a candidate’s geographical and gender diversity.ConclusionA 70% score in SNAP may not guarantee admission to SCMHRD, but it can increase your chances if you have a strong academic record, relevant work experience, and perform well in GD and PI rounds. Moreover, a good SNAP score can help you secure a call for the subsequent selection rounds. It is essential to focus on all aspects of the admission process to maximize your chances of getting into SCMHRD.

Admission to Symbiosis Institute of International Business (SIIB) is indeed a competitive process that considers both academic performance and the Symbiosis National Aptitude (SNAP) Test scores. While a minimum of 60% in the 12th standard is a basic eligibility criterion, the SNAP exam plays a crucial role in determining admission to SIIB. The SNAP exam is designed to assess a candidate's quantitative ability, data interpretation, verbal ability, and logical reasoning skills. Achieving a score of more than 93 in SNAP reflects a high level of proficiency in these areas, showcasing a candidate's readiness for the rigors of a postgraduate business programme at SIIB. SIIB is known for its rigorous academic standards, industry-oriented curriculum, and emphasis on international business. The institute attracts students aspiring to excel in the field of business, trade, and commerce with a global perspective. Therefore, a high SNAP score not only enhances the chances of admission but also reflects a candidate's aptitude for the specific challenges posed by the program. Prospective students aspiring to join SIIB should focus on comprehensive preparation for the SNAP exam, including mock tests, thorough understanding of exam patterns, and brushing up on essential skills. A strong SNAP score not only opens doors to SIIB but also positions students favorably for the dynamic and globally-oriented curriculum that the institute is known for. It signifies a candidate's commitment to academic excellence and readiness for the competitive business environment that SIIB prepares its graduates for.

Hello, I could not find any good reviews of both these courses on the web. But as per my research on the internet, both these colleges seem equally good. But some people say that, if you want a good University degree, you should go for IISM (Mumbai University) but if the choice is to go for a more well maintained and well built campus, opt for the private one i.e. Symbiosos. Placement wise, the details on the web mention that both are equally good.

Hello, to answer your question I need some information which is for which course are you looking forward to check whether Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences is the best. Because a college can not be the best for each and every course. For example, Sachin Tendulkar can be good at many thngs but he is the best at playing cricket. Similarly, if you tell me the course, I can tell you whether the college is good or best or not good.

Hi, The admission process for Symbiosis School of Sports Sciences for the MBA course is completely based on the entrance exams conducted by the school. For MBA, students are required to write for the Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP). After the SNAP test results are declared, candidates who applied, registered and paid the application charges are short listed and called for GE-PIWAT (Group Exercise, Personal Interview). Hence, yes the admission is completely entrance based. For cutoff, I checked the complete website of Symbiosis School of Sports Science but there was no information on the cutoff details. Hence, either the college is not releasing this data or it is only releasing it for the selected students of the course. But apart from the research on the official website, I checked some other websites on the internet that mention that a lot of Symbiosis schools accept students with a percentile of 70-80 in SNAP.I hope the answer was helpful.

Hi, I checked the complete website of Symbiosis School of Sports Science but there was no information on the cutoff details. Hence, either the college is not releasing this data or it is only releasing it for the selected students of the course. Students who want to get into BSc must complete their Class XII or equivalent exams from any with a minimum of 50% marks or equivalent grade (The SC and ST students should score at least 45% marks or equivalent grade). Those who want to get into this college for MBA can give upto three tests for SNAP. If candidates appear for more than 1 test, the highest score ampng all the tests will be considered for the final cutoff percentile calculation and there will be no normalization. This is the only information available on the official website. I hope this was helpful.
