SIU Pune offers a variety of institutional, merit-based, and category-specific scholarships to both undergraduate (UG) and postgraduate (PG) students across its constituent colleges.

SIU Merit Scholarship for Semester Toppers (UG & PG)

This is the primary university-driven scholarship awarded automatically every semester to recognize academic performance. Awarded to the top four semester/annual toppers of every batch across all full-time degree programs (except SMCW). Eligible students typically must maintain a minimum GPA (usually 8.5+ for UG or 7.5+ for PG) and have no backlogs. There is no parental income limit.

Fee Concession Breakdown:

• 1st Topper: 20% concession in academic fees
• 2nd Topper: 15% concession in academic fees
• 3rd Topper: 10% concession in academic fees
• 4th Topper: 5% concession in academic fees

Note: The amount is directly adjusted against the following semester's tuition fees.

Entrance Test & Specialised Merit Scholarships

• Late Jayatee Deshmukh Scholarship : This scholarship is provided exclusively to one female candidate who tops University Entrance Test which is SNAP and one female candidate who tops amongst the SET/SLAT/SITEEE/SEED respectively. It is offered in the memory of Late Ms. Jayatee Deshmukh, a former student of Symbiosis International.

• Merit Scholarship for IIT Graduates: The university has initiated a special scholarship scheme for five (5) IIT Graduates, who join the MBA programmes at SIU in the SNAP entrance test.

• Economically Backward Class (EBC) Scholarship for Girl Students from Adopted Villages: The scholarship for Girl students from Adopted Villages provides financial assistance to meritorious female students from low-income families.
• Merit Scholarship - SLS, Pune (SLAT Toppers): The scholarship is offered to meritorious students who have appeared for the Symbiosis Law Admission Test (SLAT) and are admitted in Symbiosis Law School (SLS), Pune to pursue BA LLB (5 students) / BBA LLB(10 Students).

Category & Region-Based Scholarships

• Merit Scholarship Scheme for students from North-East Region (NER): The university offers scholarship to meritorious and deserving students from the North-East Region (NER) of India, comprising 08 states viz. Assam, Meghalaya, Nagaland, Arunachal Pradesh, Tripura, Manipur, Mizoram and Sikkim.

• North-East Region (NER) Scholarship Scheme: Offered to meritorious students holding a domicile certificate from one of the eight North-Eastern states. It grants a 50% to 100% academic fee concession to selected UG and PG candidates.
• SCOPE Scholarship: Provides a 100% fee waiver for girl students coming from adopted villages who pursue specific UG courses like B.Sc. or BCA.
• International Student Scholarships: Offered via the Symbiosis Centre for International Education (SCIE) for foreign national students based on qualifying academic limits (min. 75% in 12th for UG / 60% in graduation for PG).

External & Government Scholarships

SIU students are also fully eligible to apply for government-backed schemes available through the National Scholarship Portal (NSP), AICTE PG Scholarships (for M.Tech/ M.Pharm), and private trusts such as the Lila Poonawalla Foundation or Tata Trust, depending on their respective social or financial eligibility criteria.
