There are only 50 seats for MBA In Symbiosis School of Banking and Finance, as it is a very famous college not many students take their hand off it, so I think there are less chances for you to get admission here. The selection process and criteria for admission into SIBM-P and SCMHRD may vary from year to year, and it's always best to check the official website of the respective institutes for the most up-to-date information. However, I can provide you with some general information on the composite score and the selection process.
The composite score for admission to MBA programs at SIBM-P and SCMHRD is generally calculated based on multiple factors such as academic performance, work experience, and performance in the entrance exam. The entrance exam scores, group discussion (GD), and personal interview (PI) performance are the most significant factors in the selection process.
For SC candidates, the cutoff scores are generally relaxed by a certain percentage compared to other categories. However, the exact cutoff for SC candidates may vary from year to year.
To calculate the composite score, the entrance exam score, GD, and PI performance are assigned a weightage, and the weighted scores are added to arrive at the final composite score. The weightage assigned to each factor may vary from institute to institute.
For example, SIBM-P may assign a weightage of 50% to the entrance exam score, 20% to GD, and 30% to PI, while SCMHRD may assign a weightage of 50% to the entrance exam score, 25% to GD, and 25% to PI.
In general, the procedure to calculate the composite score is as follows:
Composite Score = (Entrance Exam Score x Weightage for Entrance Exam) + (GD Score x Weightage for GD) + (PI Score x Weightage for PI)
The entrance exam score is usually normalized to arrive at a standardized score that can be compared across different exams.
It's essential to note that the actual weightage assigned to each factor may vary from institute to institute, and the selection criteria may be subject to change. Therefore, it's always best to check the official website of the respective institutes for the most up-to-date information.

It is difficult to determine the exact chances of admission from the waiting list without knowing the total number of seats available in the SCIT MBA (ITBM) programme and the number of candidates who have accepted or declined their offers. However, if the waiting list is ranked, you can estimate your chances of admission based on your position on the waiting list. If your position is close to the top of the waiting list, you may have a higher chance of being admitted as candidates ahead of you may decline their offers or fail to meet the admission requirements. You can try contacting the admissions office of SCIT MBA (ITBM) to ask about the movement of the waiting list and the likelihood of admission based on your position. They may be able to provide more information and advise you on the next steps to take. It is also important to note that waiting list movement can occur even after the admission deadline has passed, so it is recommended to be patient and keep checking for updates from the SCIT MBA (ITBM) programme. It is difficult to say with certainty whether there is a chance of conversion for an MBA programme with a waitlist of 100 as it depends on various factors such as the total number of seats available, the number of students who accept their offers, and the movement of the waitlist. However, if the waitlist is ranked, it is possible to estimate your chances of conversion based on your position on the waitlist. If your position is high on the waitlist, there is a higher chance of conversion as more seats may become available due to students declining their offers or not meeting the admission criteria. It is also important to keep in mind that waitlist movement can happen at any time, even after the admission deadline has passed, so it is important to be patient and keep checking for updates from the MBA programme. Ultimately, the best course of action is to reach out to the admissions office of the MBA programme and inquire about the waitlist movement and your chances of conversion based on your position on the list. They may also be able to provide additional information on the likelihood of waitlist movement and any steps you can take to improve your chances of admission. Please upvote if it was helpful.
