The fee structure last year was approximately INR 7.5 lakhs for the entire program including hostel. Mess food is charged differently which comes to around Rs.3500-Rs.4000 per month. Yes, you have to appear in both CAT and IRMA's exam to qualify for the next round. Both exams have different cutoffs and one has to clear the separate cutoffs individually. IRMA offers a variety of career opportunities in rural marketing, micro finance etc. There are a plethora of opportunities to explore. It all depends on what you want to make out of what the institute is offering. Rest assured, the future is bright after graduating from IRMA.

The roles offered are in development sector, marketing and finance. There are hardly any companies offering any HR roles. Some firms offer a combined operations + marketing role according to the firms requirements. Also, many banks offer jobs in marketing sector for selling their financial products. A participant at IRMA has a cross job profile which may/may not pertain to one particular sector.

The placements at IRMA are good enough. A participant at IRMA has a diverse portfolio of companies to choose from. This time, Colgate offered the highest package of 27.4 lacs p.a. CTC to one of the participants. Other than that, the median as well as average package stands at a little above 8.5 lacs p.a. with 100% placements.

Median salary is around 8.2 lacs. Highest package went as high as 27 lacs. Most of the well established brands paid in the range of 10-19 lacs.
But there are many participants who willingly joined development organizations which have salary packages lower than median. But many of them might avail the bridge fund facility provided by IRMA to bridge the gap between median and their actual salary. Going into development sector might not give immediate benefits but after experience of certain years. Kind of experience, position, respect and even the potential to earn very high salaries by joining big international firms who prefer experienced people for certain tasks.(or CSR heads of big companies)
IRMA has generated many social entrepreneurs which are doing wonderful job. IRMA provides a wonderful environment for such entrepreneurs.
IRMA has a very strong alumni network which are either CEOs or board of directors of organizations or working with reputed organizations. They can help you in numerous ways.If you are not looking for short term goals, in the long term you will surely be heading one or the other organization with good package.

The rules for this year's refund policy are yet to be finalised. They will be uploaded on the website by 7 th April. Last year till the remedial classes start, refund was according to aicte rules. After the classes start , the rules are as per IRMA.
