The university has a good number of faculty members who are highly qualified and have good work experience. The campus is also well-equipped with modern facilities. The highest placement package for the year 2023 was INR 59 LPA, which was INR 45.03 LPA for 2020 and INR 18 LPA for 2021. The university uses Collaborative and Active Learning Through Technology (CalTech) and Fully Flexible Credit System (FFCS) to facilitate the learning of students. For the VIT Bhopal Placements 2023 more than 800 companies such as Hitachi, HP, PayPal, Tata Motors, L&T, Dr. Reddy’s, Bosch and many more visited VIT University Bhopal. An international offer from Human Holdings Co. Ltd. (Japan) of 24 LPA was also made.

Vellore Institute of Technology Bhopal’s campus has well-equipped labs to help students throughout the course. However, it’ll be beneficial for candidates to have their own laptop so that they can practice at any given point in time. VIT Bhopal admission for B.Tech in CSE is done based on the rank scored in VITEEE. Students are offered streams as per their rank during different rounds of counseling. Students are also offered provisional admission during counseling. VITB admissions get confirmed after the verification of documents and confirming that the candidate has met all the eligibility requirements.

Candidates can apply online and those who meet the eligibility requirements will be selected. For some courses, the university accepts national examinations such as NATA, CAT/XAT/MAT and VITEEE for B.Arch, MBA, and B.Tech respectively. Additionally, for PG programmes such as MCA and M.Tech, the university conducts its own entrance test i.e. VITMEE.

VIT-B doesn’t conduct any entrance test for BBA programme as the admission are granted solely on the basis of class 12th performance of students. Candidates need to apply online through the university website. Candidates will be shortlisted on their class 12th result and will be offered admission accordingly.
