Yes, the application process for BTech courses through WBJEE and AUAT is different. In case candidates are applying for the course through WBJEE, they are required to appear for the WBJEE counselling process and select Aliah University as their preferred choice. Moreover, while applying through AUAT, candidates must qualify for the basic eligibility criteria according to BTech specialisation and register for the course and entrance examination through the official website of the university.

- General Knowledge - History (Medieval and Modern India), Geography, Political Science, General Science and Current Affairs.
- General English - Vocabulary, grammar and comprehension of 10+2 level.
- Islamic History and Culture based on 10+2 level.
