No, students can get direct admission at Alliance University. The university accepts admission based on merit and entrance exams. The university offers admission to an MBA programme based on the Alliance Management Aptitude Test (AMAT) followed by a personal interview. Students holding a valid score in any National or state-level exams such as CAT/ XAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ CMAT/ NMAT can also get into the Alliance University. Admission to BBA is based on AUSAT (Alliance University Scholastic Aptitude Test) followed by a personal interview. For Doctoral programme admission is based on Alliance Research Aptitude Test (ARAT) followed by a personal Interview.

Moreover, no attempting any question of a particular section may result in non-selection, as evaluators may think, you're not good in that subject.

Yes, you can crack AUSAT through self-study. Just refer to some good books for UG level Quantitative Aptitude, Logical Reasoning, and English Grammar. Refer to GK year book and practice some AUSAT sample papers.

You can start AUSAT preparation 1-2 months in advance as the topics are common and you will require basic revision and some practice sessions to crack it.

It is not compulsory to attempt all questions in AUSAT. Candidates must attempt only those questions whose answers they are sure of. They should aim to attempt about 12-15 questions in each section.
