It is established on 63 acres of scenic land in a village called Koovapally, Kaanjirapalli near Kottayam. This college ranks as amongst top three Engineering College in the state of Kerala. This institution offers engineering graduation in 10 different branches. It also offers Masters programme and also doctoral studies. The management has really taken pains to have a very eligible and dedicated faculty and also a vibrant placements cell which induces many well known recruiters to its campus for selection of students. This college was the first in the state of Kerala to get NAAC accreditation with A grade. This college is basically and Engineering College and hence it provides majority of needs for undergraduate engineering graduation courses. In addition to this it provides facilities for students to pursue their post graduation and as well as doctoral research.               The bread and butter to sustain this private college are the fees of students admitted to 10 different courses of BTech. In my opinion, Amal Jyothi College of Engineering would be better for B Tech than Saintgits College of Engineering. Even though, I heard that the college has a strict environment and there is no college life, but placements are pretty good. TCS company is a big recruiter for Amal Jyothi College of Engineering. So yes, in terms of study and placement, it's a good place but college life won't be there in Amal Jyothi college of Engineering. They have a strict environment and nothing as they show as college life in movies works here.
