The applicants should pass the Higher Secondary Examination (10+2), with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as the main subjects. General students require a minimum of 50% aggregate marks in these subjects, but relaxation is done based on Tamil Nadu government norms prescribed for the reserved categories.
