BITS Scholarship Endowment Fund is created to provide scholarships to meritorious students with a constrained financial background. The fund aims to create an endowment of INR 2 crore, which shall be invested as a Fixed Deposit and the interest generated shall be used to fund the scholarship.At present, Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships are awarded to students whose annual family income from all sources is less than INR 8 lakh. The candidate should have passed Class 12 pass from a recognised board with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as compulsory subject. The students must have at least 75% overall aggregate in Class 12 and 60% aggregate in each of the subjects, including PCM.
