Well, I see it is the most debated issue but both campuses have their own merits and demerits on the basis of following points. So you have to decide for yourself on the basis of the following points: ->Hostel :- CGC University can boast of hostel rooms being rather than landran campus,overall, the CGC University hostel has better bathroom,/water/gym/coomon room/mess facilities than Landran. ->Festivals/celebs/singers performing etc :- In my 2 years of experience i noticed that all the good singers come to CGC University and ditch landran ! ->Faculty :- As we compare both the campuses, Jhanjheri is still growing, all the faculity go to CGC University. ->Placements :- No doubts. More companies come to Landran but there is a joint placement drive and CGC University students also participate in it as well. ->Transportation :- CGC University is 7 km away from Landran, so you don't get a bus to Chandigarh directly from there. ->Small campus :- Its campus is rather small than Landran but libraries ,canteen and pool facilities are better in CGC University. That is what my observation is. Rest is up to you. I'm from the Landran campus by the way.

There is not a big difference between these two. Chandigarh Group of Colleges (CGC) has three campuses. Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landra (2001), Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Gharuan (2009), CGC University. After that CGC-Gharuan is transformed to Chandigarh University, Gharuan. Now, it's affiliated to University Grant Commission (UGC). Now, it's independent entity. Have its own courses and curriculum. But placement is joint.
