Good infrastructure, Good teachers.
Placements: Don't know currently as I am in 2nd semester. Placements are solid? About 80% get placed. The highest package hit 15LPA, average is 6LPA. Big names like Amazon and Wipro visit. Around 70% land internships by 3rd year, mostly in teach and marketing roles. It? S a pretty reliable track record.
Infrastructure: The labs and Wi-Fi are actually great, and the library has every book I? Ve needed. Hostel life is okay rooms are decent, but mess food is definitely hit-or-miss. Canteen snacks and the sports complex are the real highlights here. Solid experience, enjoying.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and supportive, but the curriculum feels stuck in the past. It doesn't quite make you industry-ready. Semester exams are tough with a moderate pass rate. Good for theory, but needs more hands-on practical work I found my subject syllabus profounding.
Other: I? M in the 2024 batch. I chose this course for its strong reputation. The campus fests and crowd are amazing, but I wish the scholarship process was faster. Good connectivity and plenty of extracurricular!

Overall, a good college for your career development.
Placements: A very good college in placement criteria, 70 percent of students are placed every year, with an average package of 5 LPA-6 LPA. The highest is 44 LPA, and many companies visit every year and provide internships, also for experienced students, who can transform their life very easily in college.
Infrastructure: A good infrastructure with good services and environment, hostel food is a bit bad, but overall facilities are good, safe for girls, strict guards at the gate don't allow outsiders in college. The canteens are available for day scholars and students. Overall have a good infrastructure. Labs are available for better understanding, and students can experience real-time experiences in this college.
Faculty: Faculty are well educated, and decorum is very disciplined. Teachers are friendly and enter on time in classes have a strict and well-maintained environment.
Other: The batch of this year is almost dropped. Batch events are largely celebrated in college.

Good college to experience.
Placements: Students in my course are placed according to their interests if they want to pursue their studies further. They can, and if they want placement, they can take the TPP subject for Rs. 4,000 or Rs. 5,000 for being placed. The average package is, I think, 4 LPA to 5 LPA. The best thing about our department is that we can also sit in pharmacy placements and in marketing placements, which gives us a chance. They provide internships that are paid, in college only, and unpaid, also that are linked to organisations like PBTI, thank you.
Infrastructure: Department's infrastructure and facilities are good, there is Wi-Fi, labs are there, classrooms for different sections are there, library is there, on other hand, the food in hostel is average, infrastructure is good, canteen is good, medical facilities are good, sports and games are genuinely good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and well-educated. Teachers teach students about semester exams. They provide PYQs and everything required to clear semester exams. They are really helpful for students to clear their exams easily, they solve doubts, and also help weak students.

Average and budget-friendly option with normal placements.
Placements: 50-60% of students were placed, and the lowest package was 3.5 LPA, whereas the highest package went to 18-20 LPA. Companies like EPAM, PhysicsWallah, Watchguard, TCS, Cognizant, FICO, Deloitte, Accenture, KPIT, LG, Namma Yatri and DBS were the recruiting companies. Top roles offered were Quality Analyst, Software Developer, and Data Analyst, and there were not many internships that were offered.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is just average, classrooms are pretty much normal, and there is no Wi-fi. The library is also not that big and has just basic course-related books. Labs are also not that highly developed. The boys' hostel is good, but in the girls' hostel, many problems do occur, and the mess food is not that good, but they do have variety, and food is provided on time. Basic medical facilities are available on campus, and there is an arrangement of sports too. Also, a plus point is that the hostel does have a gym, and the campus is quite beautiful and peaceful in the evening.
Faculty: Faculty are not that knowledgeable, but they do provide support if sought. Teaching quality is okay, and attendance is compulsory for this particular course. Semester exams are quite difficult, and the classes are not that interactive and practical-based. The pass percentage is 34%.
Other: The college does have a lot of fests like DB nights, guest talks, tech and non-tech events. The MUN conference is also conducted every year, and the co-curricular activities are pretty good.

Review of Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran
Placements: Placement is good. About 65 percent of last semester's students got placed. The average package is about 5–6 LPA. Placement drives are continuing. Students from Chandigarh Engineering College also go to Chandigarh University during placement drives, as they have joint placements.
Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi connected, and the classrooms are big enough. They have proper fans, lighting, and exhaust fans. Every classroom has a projector and a whiteboard. Hostel food is average, sometimes good, and sometimes bad. Non-veg food is available on selected days in the hostel mess. Medical services are available 24/7 with an ambulance for emergencies. Grounds for football, volleyball, basketball, and badminton are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, though some are rude. The course curriculum is relevant, but in the first semester, almost every branch has the same subjects. Later, subjects are assigned according to the stream. Semester exams are not too tough. With good study and concentration, students can easily pass them.

Good for CSE students but needs some improvement.
Placements: I am from the 2025 IT batch. 85 percent of students are placed with top companies like TCS Infosys Wipro Amazon Watchguard etc. Mostly roles include Software Developer Full sack Developer Data Analyst Sales and Marketing. The highest package offered is 40LPA and the average package offered is 6LPA. 80 percent of students got placed in major IT companies.
Infrastructure: Our CSE department has high speed Wi-Fi advanced labs smart classrooms and a well stocked library. Hostel facilities are comfortable mess food is decent canteen is clean and students get proper medical support along with good sports and gym facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are mostly helpful and qualified and the teaching quality is decent. The curriculum is fairly relevant but needs more industry focus semester exams and moderately difficult and pass percentage is usually high with regular study.
Other: I chose this course for good career scope and the best part is good exposure and supportive faculty. Labs and industry training can improve. Fests are decent the crowd is mixed connectivity is good and extracurricular activities are fair.
