CGC Landran Course Admissions 2026: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

CUET UG 2026 exam will be conducted in May/June for 37 subjects. The mode of examination is CBT (Computer Based Test). NTA did not release official notification for CUET UG date sheet. Candidates can know exam details through CUET UG information bulletin. NTA will conduct CUET UG 2026 exam in multiple phases depending upon the number of candidates registering for the exam. Registered candidates can know the exact CUET UG exam on hall ticket. Candidates will have to report at the alloted exam centre on the day of the examination. The exam will be held in two slots each day depending upon the subject combinations chosen by the candidate.

For online application, visit the CGC website, click 'Apply Now, ' register, complete the application form, upload necessary documents, and transfer the 'Prospectus' and 'College Fee' through the designated payment method. For walk-in admissions, visit the campus, obtain an admission form, fill it out, submit original documents, provide five passport-size photographs, and pay the application fee. Required documents include scanned photographs and signatures, along with your Class 12 marksheet.

Yes, BCA is available at CGC Landran. CGC Landran offers a three-year full-time BCA course at the undergraduate level in affiliation with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University. The BCA course is divided into six semesters and covers subjects such as database, networking, data structure, and core programming languages including Python, C, C+, Java, and Android. To be eligible for the BCA programme at CGC Landran, students should have completed Class 12 in any stream with at least 45% aggregate, and the selection criteria are merit-based. This programme is offered through Chandigarh College of Technology.

The total fees for MTech is INR 2.24 lakh.

There are multiple eligibility criteria for CGC Landran BCom course. Candidates can have any one of these mentioned criteria to be eligible for the BCom course:

1. Having passed atleast Class 12 examination from a board recognised or established by central/state government thereto with atleast: 33% marks in the aggregate in case of commerce students who have passed Class 12 examination. 
2. 40% for the students who have opted for two of the following commerce subjects in Class 12.

For Chandigarh Group of Colleges Landran admissions, candidates can apply either in offline or online mode. CGC Landran admissions are done on both merit and entrance basis. The college accepts JEE Main, GATE, etc. for CGC Landran admission to specific courses. To get admitted to CGC Landran, candidates must meet the eligibility criteria set by the college. Further, candidates seeking admission to the MBA programme must be graduated from a recognised university. 

CGC Landran admission to the BPharma course is based on PTU BPharma. The closing ranks for the BPharma course is released round-wise and category-wise. Candidates seeking admission to BPharma at the college must have valid PTU BPharma scores to be eligible for the admissions. As per CGC Landran cutoff 2022, the closing rank for Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) stood at 451 and in 2021 at 405 for the General category All India Quota. On analysing the last two year cutoffs, candidates must note that the BPharma course has witnessed an increase in cutoff trend. CGC Landran offers four major M.Tech specialisations including, Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, and, Information Technology. The M.Tech course is offered in a full-time mode lasting for two years. Admission to the M.Tech course is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam. MTech Eligibility Criteria: BTech with 50% aggregate (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

Yes, GATE is a mandatory entrance exam for CGC Landran M.Tech admissions. The selection of candidates for the M.Tech course is done during the PTU counseling. During the PTU counseling round, CGC Landran will look at the GATE score obtained by a candidate to decide their admission.

No, the GATE registrations have been closed for CGC Landran M.Tech admissions at this point. The GATE registrations are usually scheduled from the month of August till October of the prior year.

The GATE itself is conducted in the month of February of the academic year.

In 2026, the BSc course fees for all courses except BSc in Nutrition and Dietetics is the same at CGC Landran. 

These CGC Landran courses have a course fees of INR 3.06 Lacs with a yearly fees of INR 1.02 lakh.

No, CGC Landran no longer offers the BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration course in 2026. The aforementioned BSc specialisation was discontinued by CGC Landran since January 2025. CGC Landran only offers four BSc specialisations for admissions in the academic year 2026.
