CGC Landran Course Admissions 2026: Fees, Eligibility, Dates & Selection Process

There are multiple eligibility criteria for CGC Landran BCom course. Candidates can have any one of these mentioned criteria to be eligible for the BCom course:

1. Having passed atleast Class 12 examination from a board recognised or established by central/state government thereto with atleast: 33% marks in the aggregate in case of commerce students who have passed Class 12 examination. 
2. 40% for the students who have opted for two of the following commerce subjects in Class 12. 

• Accountancy
• Business Studies
• Economics
• Mathematics
• Office Management and Secretarial Practice
• Principle and Practice of Insurance
• Tax Procedure and Practice

BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters. Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran offers BTech in six specialisations through Chandigarh Engineering College in affiliation with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University. CGC College for Engineering offers BTech in three specialisations. CGC Landran offers four major M.Tech specialisations including, Computer Science Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics & Communications Engineering, and, Information Technology. The M.Tech course is offered in a full-time mode lasting for two years. Admission to the M.Tech course is subject to a valid score in the last qualifying exam. MTech Eligibility Criteria: BTech with 50% aggregate (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

The eligibility criteria for Chandigarh Group of Colleges, Landran BSc Biotechnology is as follows: 

• Candidates must have completed Class 12 examination with Physics & Chemistry as compulsory subjects and either Mathematics or Biology as one of the additional subject, from by a recognised Board / University / Council with at least 50% aggregate and 45% aggregate in case of candidate belonging to Reserved Category. 
  OR
• Candidates must  have passed Matriculation examination and have also passed three year Diploma in any Trade from Punjab State Board of Technical Education & Industrial Training, Chandigarh or such Examination from any other recognised State Board of Technical Education, or Sant Longowal Institute of Engineering & Technology, Longowal.

CGC Landran doesn't accept any entrance exam for admission to the M.Tech course. The colleges only accepts the last qualifying exam's score for admission to the M.Tech course. Candidates must have BTech with 50% aggregate (45% marks in case of candidate belonging to reserved category) in the qualifying examination.

The eligibility criteria for CGC Landran BSc Hospitality & Hotel Management requires students to complete Class 12 in any of the stream with English language as a medium from any recognised board of education are eligible. Admission to the BSc course is subject to valid score in the last qualifying exam. CGC Landran BSc admission for 2025 is open now. 

For CGC Landran BSc course admission, candidates must make sure to have a valid qualification. Admission to the BSc programme is merit-based. For Chandigarh Group of Colleges course admission, candidates must visit the official website to fill out the online application form. Before applying, applicants must make sure to qualify for the BSc eligibility criteria. After the submission of applications, candidates undergo a screening process. This screening involves assessing eligibility and selection criteria. Applicants are shortlisted based on their academic records. For the BSc course, the eligibility criteria are considered for selection. Following the application process, the institution will notify the selected candidates of their admission status, typically through email or other appropriate means. To secure their admission, selected candidates must make the required payments or submit necessary documents within the specified deadline, confirming their seat in the program.

CGC Landran offers a three-year degree programme of BSc in Hospitality and Hotel Administration. The hospitality course lasts for three years with an affiliation from National Council for Hotel Management & Catering Technology (NCHMCT). The BSc curriculum includes additinal subjectsn of Food & Beverage Controls, Catering, Human Resource & General Management, Tourism etc. Admission is based on candidates performance in the last qualifying exam. Candidates must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks (best of 5 subjects) for General and OBC categories (and 40% marks for SC, ST, and PwD candidates).

CGC Landran offers a three-year full-time BCom course at the undergraduate level in affiliation with I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University. The BCom  course is divided into six semesters and covers subjects in the field of commerce. To be eligible for the BCom programme at CGC Landran, students should have completed Class 12 in any stream with at least 45% aggregate, and the selection criteria are merit-based. This programme is offered through Chandigarh College of Technology.

CGC Landran offers nine specialisations under its BSc course including Non-Medical, Graphics and Web Designing, Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning, and Hospitality & Hotel Administration, among others. The college offers one honors degree in  Nutrition & Dietetics. The non-medical consists of  Biotechnology and  Micro Biology. Admission to all the BSc specialisations is merit-based. The common eligibility is Class 12 with 50% aggregate.
