The cut off for second year engineering students refers to the minimum percentage or grade required to be eligible for lateral entry admission into engineering colleges. Lateral entry admission is offered to students who have completed a diploma or a 3-year polytechnic program in engineering or technology. In India, the cutoff for lateral entry admission into engineering colleges generally ranges from 50% to 60% in the diploma or polytechnic program. However, this is only a rough estimate, and the actual cutoffs may vary depending on the specific college and program.

Typically, admission to colleges and universities is based on a combination of factors, including academic performance, entrance exam scores, and sometimes other criteria like extracurricular activities.
In your case, having a score of 91.5 percent in your diploma final year is a good academic performance, but it may not be the only factor considered for admission to DJ Sanghavi College. It would be best to check with the college directly about their admission requirements and process. Additionally, it's worth noting that admission criteria may differ based on the program and category of the applicant.
I would recommend contacting the admission office of DJ Sanghavi College or checking their website for more information on their admission criteria and process. They can provide you with the most accurate and up-to-date information regarding your chances of admission.

It is really impossible to get CSE in NITs.Now the entire thing of getting into CSE, you will get in any GFTIs, fews IIITs and few NITs(but have really low chance in NITs and IIITs). It all depends on how you fill your choices during your counseling period, whether you belong to reserved category or not, your home state quota ,all this factors will be responsible. I would suggest you to fill for ECE too to be in safe zone.

The timings mainly depend on the number of theory class hours to be conducted in a week, number of practicals in a semester, number of tutorials in a semester. Usually, you end up attending college for a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 8 hours a day.
