MCC Counselling 2022 mop-up round final result has been declared on December 8. As many as 5,182 candidates have been allotted seats out of 5,930 vacant seats. The provisional result was declared on December 7. In case of any discrepancy in the provisional result, candidates could report the same to MCC by December 7, 5.30 PM by sending an email. The institute reporting process has started on December 8, 3 pm onwards and the last date is December 12. The registration, choice filling and locking processes concluded on December 2. The registration process started on November 28 instead of November 23. The last date for registration was December 2. The choice filling process was conducted from November 29 to December 2.

For this round of counselling, MCC had released a list of 5,931 seats for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses, out of which one of the MBBS seats was withdrawn, making the total number of seats to be 5,930. The choice-locking process was held on December 2. The MCC NEET UG counselling result for mop-up round will be declared on December 7 and the institute reporting process will be conducted from December 8 to December 12. The MCC counselling stray vacancy round dates have also been postponed. Ahead of the commencement of the registration process, MCC announced that candidates who wished to convert their nationality to NRI had to send the requisite documents through email between November 25, 5 PM to November 27, 11 AM.

MCC also released the list of candidates who have joined medical institutes after the first two rounds of counselling. As many as 18,856 candidates have joined the AIQ, Deemed and Central Universities offering MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses.

Round 2 final result was declared on November 15. As many as 28,683 candidates have been allotted seats. The provisional result was declared on November 14. There has not been any change in terms of the number of candidates enlisted in the provisional and final seat allotment result. The institute reporting process started on November 13, 3 pm onwards and the last date for the same was November 22. After the declaration of the provisional result, candidates were given an opportunity to report any discrepancy through email by November 15, 10 AM. The MCC NEET UG counselling Round 2 registration process was reopened from November 11 until November 13. The choice filling and locking dates were also been extended till November 13. Announcing the reopening of the NEET UG counselling 2022 Round 2 dates, MCC has stated, “In view of decision passed by Hon’ble High Court of Madras in, 28373 of 2022 and many representations being received to extend the schedule of UG Round-2 the competent authority has decided to extend the UG Counselling 2022.”

Originally, the registration process was conducted from November 3 to November 7. The choice filing and locking deadline was extended from November 8 to November 9. Announcing the extension of the NEET UG counselling 2022 Round 2 choice filling and locking dates, MCC has stated, “MCC of DGHS is in response to several E-mails to reopen the choice filling. Hence it is decided by the competent authority to extend the schedule upto 09.11.2022. The Choice Filling extended upto 11:55 P.M of 09.11.2022. Choice Locking will be made available from 03:00 P.M of 9th November 2022 upto 11:55 P.M of 09.11.2022.” The seat allotment result for MCC NEET Counselling 2022 Round 2 will be declared on November 11. The institute reporting process will start on November 12 and conclude on November 18. The MCC NEET UG counselling 2022 Round 2 choice filling process was originally slated to open on November 3 and end on November 8, but now it was opened on November 4

Candidates who wished to convert their registration category from Indian to NRI could do so by sending an email to MCC between November 3 and November 5 with the requisite documents. Based on the applications received, MCC released a list of 241 candidates whose nationality has been provisionally converted to NRI. 

The MCC counselling for NEET UG Round 1 seat allotment result was declared at the official website, mcc.nic.in on October 21 by Medical Counselling Committee (MCC). The seat allotment result has been published in the form of a PDF for the candidates to access. MCC released the provisional seat allotment result on October 20. Based on the choice declared by candidates and other aspects including the availability of seats and reservation factor, the final result has been released. Further, selected candidates had to report to the allotted college from October 22 to October 28, 2022. 

MCC had earlier released the notification stating "Candidates can challenge the discrepancy if any in the provisional counselling result till 8 am, tomorrow (Friday)." Candidates can report discrepancies (if any) by sending mail to MCC. The final result for NEET UG 2022 counselling round-1 was released on October 21.  

MCC concluded the registration process for Round 1 counselling on October 17, 2022. Earlier, candidates were allowed to fill and lock the choices from October 14 to October 18, 2022. The document verification took place simultaneously from October 17 to October 18, 2022.  

The dates for MCC NEET UG counselling 2022 were announced on October 4. The MCC NEET counselling 2022 is being conducted for MBBS, BDS and BSc Nursing courses for the academic year 2022-23, for the 15 per cent All India Quota (AIQ) seats. MCC NEET UG Counselling 2022 will be conducted over four rounds and candidates have to register for the first two rounds and beyond that, the registration process would not be applicable. MCC NEET UG Counselling Process

MCC NEET UG counselling will be conducted at mcc.nic.in. For AIQ seats, there will be four rounds of NEET counselling, Round 1, Round 2, Mop-up Round and Stray Vacancy Round. The number of rounds will depend on the seat vacancy status. Seat allotment is done for government and private medical colleges, deemed/central universities, ESIC/AFMS institutes, AIIMS, and JIPMER. The following is a step-by-step procedure:

Step 1: Complete the MCC NEET registration process, including payment.

Step 2: Filling up and locking your choices for NEET 2022 counselling

Step 3: Declaration of seat allotment result

Step 4: Acceptance/upgradation request of allotted seat

Step 4: Reporting to the designated colleges (option for free entry/exit)

Once candidates join the allotted seats, they are not allowed to vacate the seat or claim refund.

MCC NEET PG Counselling

MCC or the Medical Counselling Committee is also responsible for conducting counselling for admissions to Postgraduate (PG) courses such as MD, MS, MDS and PG diploma courses. In order to participate in MCC NEET PG counselling, candidates have to qualify for the NEET PG exam and for MDS courses candidates should qualify NEET MDS exam.
