The LL.M. programs at Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) and National Law University (NLU) Delhi are both well-known for their high-quality legal education. However, NLU Delhi is often seen as the top choice due to its excellent reputation and ranking. NLU Delhi focuses on promoting legal and ethical values and offers a range of courses such as LLB, LLM, BA+LLB, and Ph.D., with an annual course fee of around INR 1.38 Lakhs. On the other hand, AMU's Faculty of Law has a long and prestigious history of over 100 years in legal education, producing numerous legal icons who have held esteemed positions in India and abroad. While both institutions provide valuable legal education, NLU Delhi is often preferred for its strong academic reputation and placement opportunities. Prospective students should consider factors like faculty expertise, curriculum, placements, and personal preferences when deciding between these two institutions.

NLU Delhi seems to have a higher median salary for placements and a more competitive cut-off, which might be more appealing for some students. However, Faculty of Law, AMU has a lower course fee, which could be a factor for others.
