GIBS Business School has a holistic and structured selection process to screen the applicants. Candidates are shortlisted based on their test scores in CAT, MAT, CMAT, XAT, ATMA, GMAT, or any other recognised entrance tests. First comes the minimum eligibility-a bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks (45% for reserved categories) from a recognised university. After that, the score of the entrance exam is taken into consideration. GIBS then selects the applicants on the basis of their scores obtained in the entrance exams. The selected candidates are invited to appear for further selection processes, which also include a Group Discussion (GD) and a Personal Interview (PI), apart from a Written Ability Test (WAT) in some cases. Their final selection is based on the composite performance in their academics, entrance examination scores, communication skills, leadership potential, and overall performance in GD and PI. This makes sure that the students chosen for GIBS have both the aptitude for academics and competence for managerial roles in business leader positions.

Yes, in addition to national-level tests like the CAT, MAT, CMAT, and others, GIBS also offers an entrance exam called the GIBS Aptitude Test (GAT). Students who have not taken any national exams or who wish to increase their chances are the primary target audience. The exam is fairly easy; it only assesses your fundamental aptitude, communication, and reasoning abilities. Because it provides everyone with an equal opportunity to enroll in GIBS, I think it's a good choice.
