The admission procedure to GNIOT Institute of Professional Studies is quite simple. The admitting policy of the institute is merit based, and this is in agreement with the performance of the candidate in his or her 10+2 examination. The eligibility criteria include: - 10+2 with commerce / Science stream - Pass class 12th with minimum 45% of marks and 40% for SC/ST reserved category candidates. The applications can only be made by the candidates that meet the listed criteria and they are usually admitted on a first come first served basis. Nevertheless, there is only limited availability to the seats, so one has to apply as early as possible. Some of the seats may also be like through entrance exams such as CUET, UPSEE etc. Concisely, admission process is not complicated and the candidates who meet the set requirements can easily be admitted.

However, the institute provides various scholarships to deserving students, including: - Merit-based scholarships: up to 50 percent of the tuition fees - Need-based scholarships: for tuition fees to a maximum amount of twenty five percent. - Category-based scholarships: Besides, to encourage the SC/ST/OBC/EWS students, - Alumni scholarships: to those students who have their parents or relatives graduated from GNIOT These scholarships are given out to students and the institute’s scholarship committee then approves the same depending on the status of the scholarship programme and the qualifications of the students.
