Guru Nanak Institute of Technology - GNIT has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses: CoursesEligibilityB.E. / B.TechCandidate must have passed pass Diploma in Engineering/ Technology from an AICTE approved institution with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD) or equivalent CGPA.

Candidate must have passed B.Sc. Degree from any recognised college/ university with at least 45% marks (40% for SC/ ST/ OBC-A/ OBC-B/ PwD) and must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics as a subject.
The candidate, if admitted, will have to clear the subjects of Engineering Mechanics and Engineering Graphics / Engineering Drawing of the 1st year Degree Course in Engineering/Technology along with their second year subjects.
Candidate must be citizen of India.
The above mentioned upper age limit is for B.Sc. candidates as on 31.12.2018.

Candidate must have obtained a BSc Honours degree under (10+2+3) pattern in any discipline from a UGC recognised University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks in Aggregate (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) along with at least 55% marks in Mathematics.
They must secure at least 60% marks in Secondary and Higher Secondary or equivalent level from recognised Boards with at least 60% marks in Mathematics at each level.
Candidate have to secure 60% marks (45% marks for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates) at each level of education.
