The placements for B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology have been declining over the years, with almost everybody in the 2018 batch opting for non-core jobs. The scope for chemical engineering is still increasing, but doing it from a good college is crucial for a good future. The institute has achieved autonomous status and has been accredited by NAAC with an "A" grade, but the placements for chemical engineering have not been satisfactory.

The placements for B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering at Haldia Institute of Technology have been declining over the years, with almost everybody in the 2018 batch opting for non-core jobs. The scope for chemical engineering is still increasing, but doing it from a good college is crucial for a good future. The institute has achieved autonomous status and has been accredited by NAAC with an "A" grade, but the placements for chemical engineering have not been satisfactory.
