The question of whether to pay the money to pursue the BTech in CSE at GNIT IPU has been answered over and over again depending on what you expect to get back or the kind of placement, teaching standard and other amenities at the campus. The following is a decisive view of some of the major aspects to consider:Fees & AffordabilityThe overall cost of BTech in CSE at GNIT IPU is between 5.2 Lacs to 7.05 Lacs of full four year course, without hostel and minus few extra charges. The programme is affordable relative to the cost of the private engineering colleges in Delhi NCR and many student reviews indicate that it costs well depending on the value that it delivers.Placement RecordThe placement rates are high and the recent batches boast of 80-95% placement in CSE.Average package in BTech CSE lays somewhere between 6.5 Lacs and 10 Lacs per annum.Topmost package amounts vary annual but others are offer like up to 38-50 Lacs by some companies.Large recruiters are TCS, Amazon, Wipro, Cognizant, HCL and Accenture, Vodafone, and the large IT companies.Internships and pre-placement offers are the norm in the third and fourth year, improving the employability further.Academics & FacultyThe faculty is characterized as very qualified ( many PhDs), supportive and very good at preparing the students to both industry and academia.Curriculum and labs are up-to-date, and the infrastructure on campus is also positively evaluated in most reviews.Practical learning is promoted through seminars and practical projects in the college.Limitations & ConsiderationsThe location and teaching standards are largely applauded, though they may not compare favorably to other Tier 1 institutions in terms of exposure to the industry and the majority of the CSE pay package. There are also some comments that placements may give preference to IT services profiles and not core tech jobs and jobs in product MNCs are less frequent. The Greater Noida campus has access to the technological industries of Delhi but does not necessarily perfect it to NYC urban colleges.Bottom line:IPU is worth the cost of its fees, particularly in case you are interested in a good engineering degree that promises good campus placements in such IT and tech services. It is especially worth it provided that your budget is not very large and you are not concerned with having an impressive private college experience with modern labs, good placements, as well as stable teaching. With its affordable tuition and dependable performances, GNIT IPU in CSE is a reasonable bet on middle-income students that want to stay in Kathmandu and enjoy a professional education with good job opportunities but do not want to invest an expensive fee in a higher-ranked national institute as well as a premium urban campus and elite corporate presence, which you might get in better-ranked national institutes in the country
