HelloYou can not take admission in top reputed government colleges withour CAT exam appearing. Some private university where you can take admission without this exam .Because in private university take donation for MBA seat .

Hi. Congratulations on having finished engineering. I am not an IIM Bangalore grad so I will not be able to tell what exactly is needed for IIM Bangalore, but to get into an IIM, you have to ace CAT, which means you have to get a score of at least 99.70 percentile (in each section to be sure) to have a good chance of getting an interview call. Interview calls are subjective because a candidate's profile is screened which includes your 10th, 12th and graduation marks and work experience if any. If you make their cut for all these parameters, you will be called for an interview process (which may have a few more steps like WAT or GD or GE). All the best.
