The total tuition fee for the MTech course ranges from INR 52,000 to INR 80,000. It is a full-time course of a two-year duration. IIT Jodhpur MTech course is offered in 12 specialisations. IIT Jodhpur releases a list of shortlisted students based on GATE scores and invites them for a written exam or interview.

Students enrolled in the MSc programmes are not provided with any assistantship or scholarship from within the Institute. But, candidates enrolled in the MSc programmes can pursue external funding agencies providing assistantships or scholarships. IIT Jodhpur is located on the outskirts of Jodhpur city, in its sprawling 852 acres campus.
