The calculation of Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) at the Indore Institute of Science and Technology (IIST) is typically based on the grading system and credit system implemented by the institution.
1. Grade Points: Each course or subject is assigned a certain number of credits. Generally, a letter grade is assigned to indicate the performance in a particular course, such as A, B, C, D, or F. Each letter grade corresponds to a specific grade point. The grade points are usually on a scale of 0 to 10 or 0 to 4, depending on the grading system adopted by the institution.
2. Credit Weightage: The credit weightage of a course is multiplied by the grade points earned in that course. For example, if a course carries 3 credits and the student earns a grade point of 8, the credit weightage would be 3 x 8 = 24.
3. CGPA Calculation: To calculate the CGPA, the total credit weightage earned in all courses are divided by the total number of credits attempted. This division yields the CGPA. CGPA is usually reported on a scale of 0 to 10 or 0 to 4, depending on the grading system. It's important to note that the specific grading system and calculation method for CGPA may vary between institutions. To obtain the accurate and detailed information about CGPA calculation at IIST, I recommend referring to the official documents provided by the institution, such as the student handbook, academic policies, or contacting the administration or academic department directly. They will be able to provide you with the institution-specific guidelines and procedures for CGPA calculation.

The Indore Institute of Science and technology is the best in my view because the college stands in a top place in the list of good colleges. The college has the good placement support and the students have placed with the high packages. But as the college is of top institution the fee structure will also will be high compared to other colleges. Choose the college accordingly yourself for the fee structure and the other necessary things.

Hello! Neha Garg, there are no cutoffs assigned by this institute. This may be because admissions are based on JEE Advanced which in itself restricts candidates from over 10L to less than 50K. Best wishes to you.
