A good and skilled college.
Placements: A decent starting package is there for my branch like ranging from 3 LPA - 4 LPA to 12 LPA - 15 LPA with good support for placement and startup culture.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good. There are separate labs for each course. We have a separate computer lab. All important and the latest equipments are there. Smart board is available in each class. It provides a good Wi-Fi network stability but a little problem with the regular network.
Faculty: All teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is skilled. All the courses are relevant to the industry, and they also provide extra classes known as SIG for industry-specific teaching of the latest technology other than say. All teachers are skilled, and they all know what and how to teach so that a student is well prepared.

IIST is an emerging educational institute in Madhya Pradesh.
Placements: Nearly 95% of students found placement opportunities and secured positions last year, marking a significant success rate in the job recruitment efforts of the institution. The average salary package offered to these students was approximately five Lacs, indicating a competitive entry-level compensation in the industry. However, the highest salary package cannot be shared at the moment, as the placement process is still ongoing, and further lucrative offers may be on the horizon. Unfortunately, the college does not facilitate internship opportunities directly, which can be a setback for students seeking practical experience before entering the workforce.
Infrastructure: Facilities are good, but network in college is so low that it causes so many issues, and the Wi-Fi is not given to students easily. Hostel has good facilities, mess food is also good, as well as sports activities at a top-notch level, and the Gymnasium is also good.
Faculty: Teachers here are so supportive and caring, they give attention to every student and understand their weaknesses and strengths. College definitely makes the students industry-ready with so many things like Signs ( Special interest Groups) & Workshops.
Other: In Madhya Pradesh, this college is preferable for all the Engineering courses as it is more focused on the academic aspect, unlike the other distracting activities.

Decent college with good faculty and average placements.
Placements: Our IT course saw 60% placements with the highest package of 44 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, and Cipla. No on-campus internships, students arranged their own. Roles offered are IT support, system engineer, developer, and QA.
Infrastructure: Our IT depth has well-equipped labs, Wi-Fi, smart classrooms, and library access. Hostels are basic with 24/7 facilities, and the mess food is average but hygienic. Medical aid and sports facilities like cricket, football, and indoor games are available.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and supportive, but some subjects feel outdated and not aligned with industry needs. Semester exams are easy, and students can pass even with last-minute preparation. Overall, good support, but the curriculum needs to be updated. All students pass the exam. Curriculum is outdated and not fully industry-ready. Exams are easy to pass. The attendance policy is very strict, 75% is compulsory.
Other: Few events like Garba, fest & hackathon. Scholarships are only for reserved categories.

Good placement with decent infrastructure and supportive faculty members.
Placements: In my course around 60 to 65 percent students got placed. Top recruiters are TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini and Cognizant. The highest package offered is 12 LPA and average is 4 LPA to 5 LPA. Roles like software engineer, system analyst and developer are offered. Some students also got internships at companies and startups. Placements are good if you focus on coding, communication and training sessions provided by the college.
Infrastructure: College has good infrastructure with projector classrooms and Wi-Fi enabled campus. Hostel rooms are clean with electricity and water backup. Mess food is hygienic through repetitive. Sports, medical, and internet facilities are available. Hostel life is safe with strict security and discipline. Overall, infrastructure is supportive. Hostel facilities are decent, though food and maintenance can be improved.
Faculty: Faculty members are generally helpful, knowledgeable, and approachable. Most teachers have good academic backgrounds and try to explain concepts clearly. The curriculum is relevant, and exposure would help. Exams are moderate in difficulty and mostly manageable if you study regularly. Around 80-85% of students pass without much issue.
Other: College is reasonably good in terms of value for money. Fees are affordable compared to other private colleges. The placement opportunities, infrastructure, and faculty support justify the cost. Scholarships are also available for deserving students. Campus life is decent with students from diverse backgrounds. Technical and cultural fests, seminars, and sports events are organized regularly, giving good exposure beyond academics. The crowd is friendly, and the environment is safe and disciplined. Connectivity to the city is also good.

College has a good infrastructure, and the average placement package is 3-4 LPA.
Placements: Average package for IT students from our college is 3-4 LPA, and it can go even higher if their skills are good. The lowest package is 2-3 LPA, with the average being 3.5-4 LPA. On-campus, the highest package is 12 LPA, while off-campus, the highest package is 40-45 LPA. Companies like TCS, Infosys, and Capgemini hire the majority of our students, while Flipkart, Uber, and Zomato hire some. The percentage of students who get placed from our college is around 40% to 60%. The number of students who get internships is much lower, at about 10-15%.
Infrastructure: College has a good infrastructure with proper labs, each equipped with i5 CPUs, good tables, and comfortable chairs. However, the classroom benches are congested and of low quality, though each class has smart boards. For sports, there are courts for basketball and volleyball, a cricket ground (in bad condition), and a football ground, but the equipment is limited. The mess and library are both good.
Faculty: Teachers are not very helpful but are qualified and knowledgeable, and the classes are not interactive. The college does not provide an industry-ready curriculum. They still teach an old curriculum and do not cover new technologies like React and Generative AI projects. Semester exams are quite difficult, and many students have backlogs. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose this college because of its lower fees compared to other colleges. The college needs to improve its curriculum and teach industry-required skills like MERN stack, Java, DSA, and so on. The events are good, and several activities are conducted during them.

Decent academics, but poor campus space, strict attendance, and limited activities.
Placements: About 50% of students got placed in my course. The highest package was 44 LPA, but it was off-campus without college support. The lowest was around 2.4 LPA, and the average is about 3 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Infosys, and Accenture. Mostly service-based companies visit the campus. Internship opportunities are very limited. Students usually have to find them on their own. The most common role offered is Software Engineer with basic responsibilities.
Infrastructure: The college lacks separate buildings for each branch, and the campus is quite small. Classrooms are overcrowded with around 80 students, and labs are basic. Wi-Fi connects only to laptops, and mobile signal is poor. The library is small and insufficient for engineering students. Hostel facilities are good with clean rooms and hygienic mess food. There's no proper canteen, only a small snacks shop is available. Medical help includes basic medicine and an ambulance. Sports facilities are limited with only one cricket ground, and no sports lectures are held.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are qualified and mostly helpful. But not all are good at explaining topics clearly. Teaching is more focused on theory with limited practical exposure. The course curriculum is average. Neither too outdated nor completely updated. Semester exams are moderate in difficulty and follow the RGPV University pattern. Around 80% of students pass each semester. The college provides a basic academic structure, but students need to put in their efforts to understand concepts better. Overall, the environment is okay for learning.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in the subject and its career potential in the tech field. While the course content is decent, several areas need improvement. The campus is too small for a raise in student count. Engineering alone has nearly 5000 students, making it feel overcrowded like a marketplace. The 75% attendance rule is strictly enforced, causing stress among students. The bus facility is poor, often requiring students to travel standing. Scholarships are available only for OBC, SC, and ST. Extracurricular activities are lacking. Only extra classes are conducted in their name. The overall balance could be better. Cultural activities are rare, but the annual fest named Dazzle is enjoyable.
