The process to apply to Sir M. Visvesvaraya Institute of Technology (Sir MVIT) Bangalore is done through the KCET process (for Karnataka students), COMED-K (which is open to all students), or there is the Management quota. All students must qualify by completing the eligibility of 10+2 with minimum of 45% (40% for reserved categories) in Physics, Mathematics, and Chemistry. For students who are completing entrance exams, (either KCET or COMED-K), they must register for the exam, take the exam, and then participate in centralized counselling to select Sir MVIT. For the students who are attending via the management seats, the students can request an application from the College or the Trust office directly. Once a student is allotted will be notified by the reservations beyond which they must submit documents for verification, fees, and of course establish verification to complete the admission process.
