The ideal GATE (Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering) score range for admission to the M.Tech programme at KPR Institute of Engineering and Technology is normally determined by the specialisation and number of candidates each year. Generally, a GATE score of 400 or more is regarded competitive for most M.Tech programs, while highly sought-after specialisations may demand higher scores. It is recommended that candidates strive for a score of 500-600 or higher to maximise their chances of getting a seat, as competition might be fierce. Meeting the institute's cut-off does not ensure admission; additional considerations such as personal interviews and academic records may be taken into account.
