No doubt, MNIT-Jaipur has a name and most of the students prefer to go for that, but Thapar Institute is also not a bad choice. CSE programme in comparatively has the best placement record till yet at Thapar Institute and the package is also quite good. So don't stress yourself much, you can go for Thapar Institute as it is also a reputed institution with well-equipped labs, faculty and infrastructure.

Hello Lokesh, it is one of the most difficult task to extract once deposited fees etc from a private college even if your case is genuine. The economics if these institutes depends on number of students. If you are leaving, it's loss for them.
