The following requirements must be met in order to be eligible for admission to the MCA program's first semester:    A candidate must have completed a three-year (or six-semester) Bachelor's degree programme (B.A., B.Sc., B.Com., B.C.A., B.B.A., or any other degree course) with a minimum of 50% overall marks or an equivalent grade from any accredited university or institution, with mathematics serving as a core or required course towards graduation.   Lateral Entry: Depending on space availability, candidates who have completed a minimum of one (1) year of institutional study following a bachelor's degree and a postgraduate Diploma in computer application from any accredited university or institution or an NIELIT "A" Level course under the Government of India (with at least 50% aggregate marks) may be considered for admission into the third semester of the MCA programme. 

The two-year postgraduate Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme at NIELIT Aizawl is offered. There are 60 spots available for the course. The Master of Computer Applications (MCA) programme at NIELIT Aizawl has a total tuition cost of INR 1.75 lakh. Students must also pay an additional 1.03 Lacs INR for hostel fees and a one-time entrance charge of INR 2,000 in addition to the tuition.
